Ingredients
- 200 ml MANI Kitchen Hero, 100% virgin olive oil
- 80 ml of cold water
- 340 g flour
- 200 g sugar
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 pinch of salt
- 180 g dark chocolate, roughly chopped
- optional: sea salt flakes
preparation
- Mix olive oil, water, flour, sugar, baking powder and a pinch of salt in a bowl to form a smooth dough.
- Fold in the chopped chocolate and let the dough rest in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours.
- Preheat the oven to 180 °C (top/bottom heat).
- Place the dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper using an ice cream scoop. Alternatively, take about 2 tablespoons of dough and roll them into balls with your hands.
- Bake the cookies for about 13–15 minutes, until the edges are golden brown but the center is still soft. The cookies will firm up as they cool.
- Optionally sprinkle the cookies with sea salt flakes and let them cool completely.
MANI Tip: You can prepare the cookie dough the day before, put it in the refrigerator and bake it the next day.
