1. What is The Olive Tree Investment?

The Olive Tree Investment is an opportunity to make a meaningful and sustainable contribution to ecological projects while earning attractive returns. By investing in MANI Bläuel, you are supporting an environmentally responsible company specializing in high-quality olive products. This investment reinforces our independence from traditional banking systems and drives our commitment to sustainability.

2. How much can I invest, and what returns will I receive?

You can invest between €500 and €50,000. Two return options are available:

For investments exceeding €5,000, investors must confirm that the amount does not exceed twice their average monthly net income (calculated over 12 months) or 10% of their financial assets.

Returns are calculated from the day your funds are credited to our account. Payouts occur annually on January 31 of the following year.

3. Can I increase the amount of an existing investment agreement?

Existing agreements cannot be modified, but you may create additional agreements as long as your total investment does not exceed €50,000 per investor.

4. What is the investment duration, and how can I withdraw my funds?

The minimum investment duration is five years. After this period, you can withdraw your funds with three months’ notice at the end of the month. Without withdrawal, the investment automatically renews for another year.

Special withdrawal rights exist within the first two years, requiring 12 months' notice. Extraordinary withdrawals are possible at any time.

6. What information obligations does MANI Bläuel fulfill?

We value transparency and comply with all regulations under the Alternative Financing Act (AltFinG), including providing annual financial statements and business plans. Additionally, we invite our investors to our annual Olive Tree Investors' Meeting, where we present current projects and business developments.

7. Are there any tax implications?

For lenders from Germany, we have prepared a document explaining the tax obligations and exemptions: Tax Information for Germany (as of June 2019)

For Austria, the following regulations apply (as of 06/2019):

Interest income from the loan is generally taxable, even if it is paid out in the form of a voucher. If you are not self-employed, you can earn up to €730 per year in additional income tax-free alongside your salary. This means: Up to a loan amount of approximately €18,250 (at a 4% interest rate), the interest income does not need to be taxed.

Additional income exceeding €730 per year must be declared in the income tax return.

Example: Your total interest earnings amount to €1,200. After deducting the tax-free €730, the remaining €470 must be reported in your income tax return.

The following company assets serve as security for your investment:

  • Inventory and properties valued at over €2.1 million.

All payments are subject to the company’s financial stability and will be prioritized once sufficient funds are available.
