Ingredients
- 400 g canned chickpeas, rinsed and drained
- 60 ml lemon juice, freshly squeezed
- 3 tbsp tahini
- 1-2 pieces of MANI Bläuel Garlic in Olive Oil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2-4 tbsp cold water (as needed)
- 6 tbsp MANI Bläuel "The Family Hero", extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 tsp cumin, ground
- Paprika powder, parsley
- Vegetables for dipping: as desired, e.g., carrots, cucumber, bell pepper
Preparation
- Purée the chickpeas together with 4 tbsp olive oil, lemon juice, tahini, garlic, salt, and 2 tbsp cold water until very smooth and creamy, adding more water or lemon juice as needed until the desired consistency is reached.
- Season with salt, lemon juice, and cumin.
- Spread into a bowl, form a well, and pour in 2 tbsp olive oil.
- Sprinkle with paprika powder and parsley as desired.
- Cut vegetables into sticks and serve alongside.
