Appreciation of People and Nature

For the entrepreneurial Bläuel family, the appreciation of people and nature has been the foundation of their actions for over 40 years.

At the end of the 1970s, Fritz and Burgi Bläuel came to the Mani region as seekers of alternative ways of life and economy. Soon they began to build up organic agriculture together with olive farmers and millers. Their goal: the production of the finest olive oil.

To this day, MANI Bläuel has supported over 300 farmers in converting to organic agriculture. From this emerged in 1991 the first certified organic olive oil of Greece, which is exported worldwide today.

Since 2009, son Felix has been part of the management and is shaping the future of the company with new impulses, such as the Naturland Fair certification. Daughter Julia has been actively involved since 2015 and has been managing director since 2021. Together with the small farming families, the company contributes to the preservation of traditional olive cultivation.
