Small savory olive kisses for a quick snack or your next party. Based on the recipe by Sonja Roost-Weideli from the cookbook Baking with Olive Oil Two.
Ingredients:
- 100 g spelt flour
- 100 g millet flour
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 200 g MANI Kalamata olives
- 1 egg
- 2 tbsp plain yogurt
- 2 tbsp MANI extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1/2 tsp MANI sea salt
- 1 garlic clove, finely chopped
- 1 sprig parsley, finely chopped
- 50 ml water
Preparation:
- Mix spelt and millet flour with baking powder in a bowl.
- Add sliced olives to the mix.
- Whisk egg, yogurt, olive oil, thyme, Himalayan salt, garlic, parsley, and water. Add to the mix and stir well.
- Preheat the oven to 180 °C. Line a baking tray with paper muffin cups and evenly distribute the mixture into the cups.
- Bake the muffins at 180 °C for 30 minutes.
Mani Tip:
You can also use the MANI Cocktail Mix instead of olives for a variation.
