Buy Greek Olive Oil – with organic quality and genuine humanity!
The native and extra-virgin MANI olive oils not only add a Mediterranean touch to salads, they are also ideal for cooking, baking and frying. Especially the „MANI 100% virgin olive oil” is the born kitchen hero!
At MANI, the heart beats for people, the environment and of course the olive. Since the Austrian couple Fritz and Burgi Bläuel in the 70s discovered the beautiful region of Mani on the “middle finger” of the Greek Peloponnese, countless olives have matured under thier wing in organic quality and at high-quality (extra) virgin olive oil. To this day, the organic pioneer family has supported over 300 farming families in converting to organic farming.
The first ecologically produced olive oil in Greece was produced and sold on an equal footing and side by side. In 1991 MANI received the very first organic certification in Greece. The MANI recipe for success? A trusting partnership and fair prices for farmers! And not to forget - the special MANI ingredient: Every bottle of MANI olive oil is full to the brim with the joy of the craft and a pinch of Greek sensuality.
Buy high quality olive oil directly from the producer
Anyone who buys Greek olive oil directly from the producer knows exactly what they bring into the kitchen. All MANI olive oils are organic and authentically produced! The majority of them are harvested by hand and immediately afterwards gently cold-extracted in the oil mill. As a pioneer in organic olive oil from Greece, MANI places great importance on fair olive production and harvesting practices.
The MANI range ranges from virgin to extra virgin - the two highest quality levels – and is available in a wide range. In total, eight MANI olive oils are available. From particularly polyphenol-rich olive oils to fruity lemon-infused olive oil, the MANI online shop has something to suit every preference.
Olive oil with a particularly high polyphenol content
The MANI extra virgin olive oil, with its particularly high polyphenol content of 500 mg/kg, can pride itself on its beneficial effects. Polyphenols are secondary plant compounds that help protect blood lipids from oxidative stress. The beneficial effect of polyphenol-containing olive oil can be achieved with a daily intake of approximately 20 g of olive oil.
